Please note that you have to get your tickets on the day, as all advanced tickets have gone gone gone.

EXHIBITION: Hollywood Costume is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see over 100 of the most iconic costumes in the history of film-making.

This major exhibition explores the most beloved characters in Hollywood history and gives insight on the role of the costume designer and their vital contribution to cinema storytelling. The exhibition includes costumes from many of the greatest films of all time including The Wizard of Oz™, Vertigo, Ben Hur, Some Like It Hot, Taxi Driver, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Titanic, plus recent releases including Pirates of the Caribbean, Spider-Man, The Iron Lady and The Artist.

INSIDE THE EXHIBITION

Stretching across three rooms and featuring more than 100 exhibits, Hollywood Costume reveals the painstaking work behind some of cinema’s most iconic costume designs.

Spanning almost a century of movie history, characters featured in the exhibition include Darth Vader, The Terminator, Dorothy Gale, Holly Golightly, The Tramp, James Bond, Han Solo, Jack Sparrow, Indiana Jones and The Blues Brothers.

TICKETS

Please book your tickets in advance where possible, for future weeks. There are a limited number of tickets available to purchase at the Museum on the day and we advise arriving at the V&A at 10.00 to secure these. Please note that tickets purchased on the day will be for a range of time slots throughout the day and not necessarily for immediate entry to the exhibition.
