Let’s Get Physical

Celebrate dance and movement in all shapes and forms, with dancers and scientists from the Rhythm is a Dancer series.

Take in the full range of movement depicted by the dancers who feature in specially commissioned portraits by photographer Conrad Atton, which track the algorithms of each dancer’s movements in light.

See the dancers perform, as scientists biometrically monitor them, visualising the physiology of their performance.

Figure out what the future holds for dance with scientists and performers in a debate, and get your own dancing shoes on: fill in your dance card, join in a tea dance and learn some new steps.
