The theme this year is ‘Material Matters’ so there’s a great opportunity to really get get stuck in and creative!
For those with some time to sprare, you might even be lucky and get a window to have a look at the very new Picasso exhibition (which opens on 14-Feb). Admission is £6, but well worth it if you’ve made the journey to town. The show Becoming Picasso: Paris 1901 reunites major paintings from his debut exhibition with the influential dealer Ambroise Vollard. These works show the young painter taking on and transforming the styles and subjects of major modern artists of the age, such as Van Gogh, Degas and Toulouse-Lautrec.
Admission for the family fun day is completely FREE with disabled access and baby changing facilities available. RSVP to jane.scarth@courtauld.ac.uk for more information.
