Mayfair Christmas Market, Berkeley Street (28th Nov)

Novikov Restaurant and Bar is delighted to announce that it will be hosting the Mayfair Christmas Market in a fantastic new initiative that will see the whole of Mayfair Place closed off to traffic and transformed for a truly sensational festive experience for one day only on Saturday 28th November.

Hampstead Christmas Festival, Hampstead High Street (29th Nov)

This year Hampstead High Street will be turned into a magical winter wonderland Christmas scene with 90 stalls selling gifts, delicious international food and drink, a funfair, live music, a Christmas grotto, reindeer, a film show, children’s activities and lots more.

The East London Vintage Furniture Flea, Bethnal Green (29th Nov)

Hyper Japan Christmas Market, Tobacco Dock (27 -29 Nov)

Enjoy a Tokyo shopping experience with a Christmas twist at the Hyper Japan Christmas Market. With a focus on festive shopping and food, the market brings Japanese-style festive fun to London in the charming setting of Tobacco Dock.

Christmas Fair, Chelsea Physic Garden (28- 29 Nov)

Browse more than 90 stalls within a heated marquee for unique presents including garden plants, jewellery, artisan food and drinks. The Growing Friends and Volunteers of Chelsea Physic Garden will once again be selling their popular handmade wreaths, as well as white floral Christmas moss balls. Opening times: 10am to 5pm on 28 November, and 10am to 4pm on 29 November.

Annual Rugby Street and Lambs Conduit Street, Late Night Shopping (Wednesday 2nd December 12.30-8pm)

One of my favourite shopping lanes in the land. Lambs Conduit Street. It’s compact, chic and a non-bling slice of real London. Take the trip when the lights are twinkling on the 2nd December for their annual Christmas late night shopping event. Not to be missed, but you’ve been told, it’s a sweet and short affair … not for those of you that like a ‘full on’ shopping moment. More chat about the area on an earlier post here.

Christmas Shopping Party, Seven Dials & St Martin’s Courtyard (3 Dec)

Tick off your Christmas shopping list or treat yourself with more than hundred shops, restaurants and bars offering ticket holders a 20% discount throughout the evening. Try a delicious range of street food or sip on a cocktail as you listen to live music and DJ sets. Royal College of Art Christmas Fete, RCA Kensington (3-5th December)

Established four years ago, the RCA Christmas Fête is a celebratory occasion that brings together RCA students and the wider community of art and design lovers, as well as local and international visitors. Shoppers will have the unique chance to purchase beautiful, well-crafted, one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and family, with contemporary prints, jewellery, decorations, gifts and more on offer. Prices range from £1 to £200. Parents and Children Afternoon: Saturday 6 December, 2–6pm

Free Alternative Christmas Market, Old Street (3rd Dec)

When was the last time you had a chance to have a drink, sit on a Potter’s Wheel, make some delicious Sushi and give a go at the Hula Hoops, and all this for Free! Expect a DIY, Experiential, Food & Craft Market, a totally hands on experience allowing you to discover, experience + create! Entrance is Free!  Taking place at The Magic Roundabout in Old Street Station, from 5-11pm on Thursday December 3rd. This is a completely FREE event!

Crafty Fox Markets (5-6th Dec)  & (12-13 Dec)

They bring local crafters and makers together to sell their products direct to the public. It’s coming to Dogstar in Brixton and Bussey Building in Peckham before Christmas (other Christmas events take place in Hoxton and Docklands). 5-6 and 12-13 December

Bart’s Bazaar Christmas Market, Barts Pathology Museum (5th December)

The museum will be open for a rare browsing opportunity as well as an incredible “Christmas Market” selling anatomy and pathology themed goods, curios, taxidermy, creepy confectionery and more. There’ll be carols, mulled wine and special events. This is a ticketed only event, with specific time slots.

Chelsea Christmas Gift Fair, Chelsea Old Town Hall (5-6th Dec)

Christmas isn’t all tinsel and neon santas: it can be chic, as this fair demonstrates. Just have a look at the list of exhibitors; you can pick up some beautiful homewares, clothing, jewellery and foodstuffs.

Belgravia Christmas Markets at Elizabeth Street and Pimlico Road, (5-6th December)

Pimlico Road hosts its Christmas market on 5 December in its cosy village-like surroundings. Alongside the independent design and antique shops, festive stalls offering unique gift ideas will line the street to the sounds of live music and entertainment.

The following day (6 December), Elizabeth Street will welcome a pop-up market selling a wide range of seasonal treats and Christmas gifts, from food to fashion. Instead of his traditional grotto, Santa will this year make an appearance inside a black cab photo booth, where you can meet him and capture the moment on photo.

THE LONDON ILLUSTRATION FAIR, BARGEHOUSE , OXO TOWER WHARF, SOUTHBANK (DEC 4TH – 6TH, FRI & SAT 11AM-8PM, SUN 11AM-6PM)

Taking up residence in the Bargehouse, a four-storey warehouse on the heart of the South Bank, The London Illustration Fair 2015 will showcase the work of 50 young, emerging illustrators, selected by an esteemed judging panel made up of some of the UK’s leading figures in the illustration and graphic arts.

Alongside the artist-led stands, will be pop-up shops displaying the freshest prints and products from a handpicked selection of creative agencies, publishing houses, illustration collectives, print studios, crafty businesses and textile designers.

City Christmas Fair, Drapers’ Hall (7th Dec)

The City Christmas Fair is held every year in aid of Wellbeing of Women. At the fair you can browse stalls filled with original luxury goods, fabulous foods and stocking fillers. Unwind with a glass of bubbly at our Champagne bar and then place a bid in the very popular Silent Auction.

Illustrators’ Christmas Fair (Sat 12th Dec)

Find those perfect presents – or just come and treat yourself – at this winter Illustrators’ Fair.

They’re taking over the Crossing in the Granary Building next to House of Illustration to fill it with our hand-picked selection of emerging and established illustrators. From limited edition prints and handmade books to jewellery and bags, there will be beautiful things to suit all tastes and all budgets.

With over 100 exhibitors it’s also a fantastic opportunity to get creative, meet illustrators, and learn more about what they do – and we’ve lined up a fabulous programme of workshops and activities to get involved with.
