This week from Monday to Sunday (16-22nd June) is Children’s Art Week. It is a UK-wide programme encouraging children, young people, families and teachers to engage with the visual arts.
There are some exciting events happening across town with some of our favourite illustrators, artists and workshop-leaders. We like the sound of the Hunt for Treasure with Okido at The Design Museum, and the Family Day at The Whitechapel, and the Family River Sketching Walk in Richmond. All the details can be found here, so get packing your dried fruit and energy bars, ready for a week of creativity, artist inspiration and plain old fun.
