Somerset House : Family Wild Life Drawing: Halloween Special : Saturday, 31 October 2015 (Best suited to ages 5+)
Join this family drawing event where you will get the chance to meet and draw real a bearded dragon, spiders and snakes. Getting up close to these creatures will allow you all to break the spells that have been cast on all children across the land, that spiders are scary, and that dragons will breathe fire on your breakfast.
The session will include an introductory talk, guidance from Artist and founder of Wild Life Drawing Jennie Webber to help you find your inner drawing talents, as well as a chat about the conservation of the animals, with all drawing materials supplied. You should stay in touch with Jennie, wouldn’t it be a great idea to hire her for a kids or adults birthday party?

The Peacock Theatre : Into the Hoods Remixed : 23rd Oct to 14th November (Ages 5+ only)
As far as us drivers here at Bus Stop HQ are concerned, anything Zoo Nation dance company does is all good with us. This time they have revamped their 2008 award winning show Into the Hoods, ready for a National Tour in 2016. We always run to grab tickets for the Zoo Nation shows. To date we have seen The Mad Hatters Tea Party at The Royal Opera House )which was A-mazing) Some Like It Hip Hop at The Peacock and Groove on Down The Road at the Southbank.
The music is unbelievably brilliant, heart warming and booty shaking. The dancers are the hottest hip hop gang around, and the shows are always full of energy, humour and slick choreography that leave you wanting to back flip out of your seat and into Covent Garden ready to busk for your dinner.

CHANEL Children’s Workshops at The Saatchi Gallery : 13th October – 1st November 2015
The workshops are an introduction to the sense of smell. At the sessions the kids will be formally introduced to the discovery of CHANEL N°5, with activities to help develop the olfactive memory.
There will be an awakening of their fifth sense, with a guessing game and an explanation of the link between the sense of smell and the brain.
They will be able to smell out the six key elements contained in CHANEL N°5 through a game of smells. Expect great things, because even if your tiny person does want to be a fireman or hairdresser, having a sense of smell that can tell their ‘Chanel no5’ from their ‘Katie Price’ perfume is one way to impress at an interview.
Info: Booking essential, they seem to be very busy when I last checked online, so I advise giving them a ring, and finding out when there is availability.
Sadlers Wells : Barrowland Ballet : Tiger Tale ( Age 5+)
Barrowland Ballet is one of Scotland’s most exciting contemporary dance companies. Based Glasgow, and run by Artistic Director and Choreographer Natasha Gilmore, it is a run by a team that believe strongly in mixing popular culture with art, with the philosophy that dance should be available to everyone.
They will be at the Lilian Baylis Studio this October half term, performing their London premiere of Tiger Tale on Friday 23 & Saturday 24 October. Combining live music, theatre and dance, the show is a moving, intimate performance about a family whose world is turned upside down when a tiger invades. You may not be ‘into’ dance, but you never do know when you might come home to find that Amazon have delivered a Tiger (which is sitting in your bin store) so look at this day out as one of survival training, and support all the great work that Natasha Gilmore is producing at the same time.
