1. Lambs Conduit Street & Rugby Street, Bloomsbury : Thursday 4th December : 6-830pm
This is my favourite shopping location in town, and the Christmas shopping event is a firm date with my girlfriends and I. We swing between the charming Persephone Bookstore, Pentreath and Hall, Thornback & Peel who are the most delightful talented girls, and always welcome you with a mince pie and smile, not forgetting my old mate Oliver Spencer, who has the best blokes clothes ever, and on my bucket list of entire shops to buy Folk clothes for men and women. There are a handful of cosy spots to grab a glass of red, our favourite being the cellar bar at Cigala. If this is busy, then the wine bar opposite is equally fantastic.
2. Exmouth Market, Farringdon : Wednesday 3rd December : 6pm onwards
This year, the whole merry gang down there in Farringdon will be hoping to fatten us all up at their Christmas Party on the Wednesday 3rd December. There will be carol signing, live music, a Santa’s Grotto, late night shopping, mulled wine, special offers, and a few angels dotted around to keep an eye on how much you’re drinking.
3. Columbia Road Market, Wednesdays 6-8pm in December.
For the eighth year running, the shops of Columbia Road will be opening on the three Wednesday nights in December, the 3rd, 10th and 17th from 6pm to 9pm and a special Saturday opening on 20th December from 12 to 8pm.
