Recently in my quest to get a peek into the inner creative sanctums of some clever people, I came across a determined hard working rabbit working on a new book called ‘Miffy and the Royal Baby’ with her friend Dick Bruna.
The interesting thing about this bunny is that she is quiet, determined and true to her love of primary colours.
Whilst working in her studio, she prefers to wear a dress and due to all the hard work, espresso coffees and raw carrots she continues to live to the grand old age of 4 years old.
As you can see Miffy works on her books with her close friend Dick, and has made a pinky promise to keep the books small in size, aimed at readers between 4-8years old and for children, not their parents.
Miffy and her books have now been translated into more than 50 different languages, and over 85 million copies have been sold all over the world. That’s what happens when you work hard, keep your idea simple to execute, and have best friends like Barbara Bear, Poppy Pig and Snuffy.
