We have spotted this book on the coffee tables of some of Mama’s most fashionista buddies. We have it on our Christmas list too, as after seeing the documentary The September Issue, we also were enchanted by the flame haired no-nonsense lady that is Grace.
Born in Angelsey, she found her way to London at 18, and then became the face of the 1960’s as a model. She worked with Bailey, Donovan, Duffy, Norman Parkinson and Helmut Newton. Today she is the Creative Director at Vogue, has had an influential and close relationship with Anna Wintour for over 20 years, and is great friends with Calvin Klein and Bruce Weber who led her to NYC back in the day.
